BASIS Upper School

The design for BASIS Independent’s new Manhattan Upper School highlights the existing brick and timber character of this former factory and Chelsea Art Museum, honoring  the building’s rich 100 year life.   Within these historic bones, learning spaces will gather around a central glass stair and atrium that brings rare and invaluable natural light into the middle of a square New York City block.
